Research and Strategy

I’m experienced in using research and analysis to deliver insight led strategy and branding. I’ve completed more than seventy hours of primary research through focus groups, face to face and telephone interviews.
All my career I have created things that connect with customers in some way. The planning and measuring of this connection and response fascinates me. As I progressed into leadership roles I was able to move from facilitating others to delivering the craft that motivates me most – research and strategy.
As a non technical person, I strive to make complex problems and solutions simple to understand in documentation or presentation.
Experience: Beeswift Brand Audit
In 2019 I conducted a research study for personal protective equipment (PPE) manufacturer and wholesaler Beeswift Ltd. Beeswift commissioned RBL to conduct a strategic brand review to inform their business plans for the future of the company.
In this contract I conducted 1-2-1 telephone interviews and focus groups with a cross section of their employees and customers. The aim was to gather qualitative data on every aspect of Beeswift’s operations, products, services and marketing. I reviewed their marketing channels in comparison to key competitors and critiqued their B2B commerce platform.
The outcome was a brand audit document of findings and insights with recommendations on opportunities to pursue.
