Digital Product – UX and build

I have experience of planning the UX of websites and apps along with IA and content strategy. I’ve been a producer of dozens of technical builds (including using Agile if that’s your thing.) I’ve done a lot of performance measurement and optimisation too. I’m familiar with Balsamiq, JIRA, MS Project (or Smarsheet) and many more useful software tools.
Recent Projects
Xoserve Website Production
Xoserve is the central data provider for Britain’s gas market. They are responsible for how much gas we all need, and what each of us should pay. I led the production of a modern website for this ex public service. Xoserve’s audience is rarely the consumer – they serve businesses and the government by handling lots of regulation and complex documentation for the energy infrastructure of the UK. The site needed a comprehensive search and a complex system to tag, categorise and link hundreds of documents. The user was placed at the centre from the very start of planning to improve CX.

Earthworm UX Review
Earthworm is an ethical investment start-up, providing sustainable returns for people who may have never invested their savings before. I was contracted to conduct a UX review of their current website and digital strategy. I studied their objectives, performance data, site and content, in order to recommend improvements. Once the rationale was agreed, I suggested new UX for the entire site, focused around distinct user journeys.
I am producing the site changes with an ongoing retainer for digital strategy support, starting with user testing of the website and attitudinal research with prospects.
Unforgettable journeys
I produced a website for Land Rover called Defender Journeys. The website was the centre of a social media campaign giving Defender fans and owners the chance to celebrate and share their memories. The responsive website allowed users to plot their journeys on a custom Google Map along with their story, photographs and films. Once reviewed and approved, the journeys were curated on the Land Rover brand website. It capitalised on the amazing advocacy of customers, with more than 500 adventures published.
