About Me

I’m a 38 year old dad mixing a career in serious marketing with daft outdoor pursuits. I’m deep into an unending quest to find the perfect culinary creation.

By blood I’m part of the Irish descended Breslin and Ives families from London, and I’m lucky to be married into the Northern grit of the Taylor & Hargreaves families.

Currently a Warwick home owner with my wife Jennie and my daughters Bella & Florence. I was once known by the alias ‘DJ Conscience’ in the clubbing scene of Birmingham – you can check out my tunes and musical past.

I’ve done lots of sports for fun – football, rugby, rock climbing, breakdancing, table tennis, surfing, canoeing and sailing, but I’ve got the cycling bug in the last few years. I’ve competed in a couple of mountain biking events and even got into lycra clad road biking! I recently took an amazing trip to Fort William to ride the highland trails and came back with some great footage – read the whole story.
